DIRECT STUDENT LOAN

I was on my direct loans account page and noticed that my address had changed, I hadn’t changed it. Someone has hacked into my account and changed the address where the loan check will be sent to his own address. I am worried that direct loans has already sent the check (it was supposed to come the 14th) and the person that stole it has cashed it already, or will. I have the address and phone number of the person who did this. What do I do? Can they cash my student loan check that they stole and that is payable to my name and is NOT endorsed by me?

Are you able to make your payments? I am just curious what everyone else is doing. So far, I have about $20,000.00 in student loan debt for 4 years of school (I have a bachelors in psychology now). I am going on to graduate school and student loans are going to have to cover all those costs too, including me getting a used car for a few grand. Is everyone else spending all this student loan money too?

I am really wanting to go back to school and I recently owe for going to school a few years ago.
I got a bill in the mail from Direct Loans and it said I could ‘defer’ my loan payments. I know this is also possible if you go back to school. Now, can I still receive loans from them even though I owe money, but need help going back to school?

I had defaulted on a student loan but re-payed it more than 10 years ago. On my credit report the loan shows as being opened 8/03 and closed 1/06 and originally reported as of 1/06. It wouldn’t allow me to dispute it because it’s been paid in full. How can the dept of ed report false dates and how can I get this corrected? Thanks!
