Im worried!!
I applied for full student loan for fees and maintainence. I did the online application and i think i remember it saying that you are automatically assessed for the maintainence grant which is non repayable. I have just received the letter today saying i am getting the full loan for fees and maintainece but there is not mention of the grant.
Does this come seperate? I have been on hold with student finance direct for the last 30 minutes then cut off at 8pm as they are closed. Thats no biggy i’ll call tomorrow but does anyone know about the maintainance grant and when i will be informed about it?

I am considering enlisting in the army and I was wondering how the student loan repayment program works. I have done some research so i do know that they pay a portion of the principle amount of a federal loan every year that you are enlisted and that you must score a 50 or higher on the ASVAB…plus be eligble for a MOS. But I want to know how the program works from an insider….or someone who has done quite a bit of research. Any details will help. Thanks!

How long does it take to get your refund of the remainder left of your student loan after the school takes out for tuition?

I have a vacant lot, and I need to sell it, but I’m not sure how that would affect my tax status for the next year. I normally don’t have to pay any taxes, so would that affect my getting a refund? Also, I will be applying for student loans soon, and I would like to know if that would make me less eligible to take out a stafford/private student loan?
