DIRECT STUDENT LOAN

Will i be denied a secret clearance?
I have less than $3000 in credit card debt and I have a Direct Loan(student loan) for $7000.
I have been late a few times on my credit cards, but all my balances are current and below the balance line.
I also had a collector call me for an $86 payment that was due to a doctor. I was two months over the age of 18 when I went to the doctors, the insurance was supposed to cover it but my parents never took care of it…so since I was over 18 the collector contacted me about it. I paid as soon as they called over the phone.
I’m just worried I will get denied for my clearance. I ship out to BCT at the end of may.
So will these factors deny me from obtaining my secret clearance?

Where can I find a good low intrest rate student loan, with low or no credit?
I have this friend who is trying to go to school in LA california and she lives in New York. Also she has no credit and her parents have little creidt as well. Do any one have any bank or suggestion on where she can get a good student loan?

I’ve applied for a student loan but im still waiting to be assessed. I need to move into accomodation asap and they are asking for nearly this much as a first installment before i can.

I took out an $850 student loan last semester. I had to drop out of school due to personal reasons and that loan was due in May. I didn’t have the funds necessary then, but I plan to pay it in full when I receive my tax rebate. After I pay it off, will my credit be restored? How long will that take? Thank you for your help!
